Fourth Sunday of Easter

Watchword for the Week — Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John 10:11

Sunday, April 22 — Acts 4:5–12; Psalm 23
1 John 3:16–24; John 10:11–18

O Lord my God, in you I take refuge; save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me. Psalm 7:1

Jesus prayed: “I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.” John 17:15

God in whom we find refuge, we are grateful. When we find life unmanageable we remain hopeful, knowing you provide safekeeping from all that would separate us from you. Amen.
