Come out to Rural Hall Moravian Church on Wednesday, June 28 at 7:00pm for a free film screening of the PBS’s Frontline documentary Being Mortal. This film explores and encourages discussion of difficult, end-of-life issues. Dr. Dave Stallings, Rev. Lori Carter, and J. Benjamin Limehouse, ESQ., will facilitate a panel discussion after the film. This event is sponsored by Rural Hall Moravian Church, the Shepherd’s Center of Winston-Salem, and the Aging Well Team of the Moravian BCM.

Children’s Activities, 2pm to 4:45pm: Join us at 2:00pm for a kick-off ceremony, after which families will travel to fun, interactive activities such as putz-making, petting zoo, mission games, and cookie demonstrations.
Lovefeast, 4:45pm: Church bells and a Moravian band will call us to gather in the sanctuary for a lively and engaging service.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers Class
For caregivers who prefer a morning class, we are pleased to offer a new upcoming Powerful Tools for Caregivers class. This class will be held on Thursdays, May 18 through June 22, 10am to 12pm, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2400 Dellabrook Road, Winston-Salem. There is no charge, but donations are accepted. Classes are sponsored by the Shepherd’s Centers of Greater Winston-Salem and Kernersville, Family Caregiver Support Program, Senior Services, Hospice & Palliative CareCenter, SECU Family House, and Daybreak Respite Program. Classes fill quickly, so early registration is suggested.
Registration is now underway for this class and for an afternoon class on Tuesdays, May 16 through June 20, at the Senior Enrichment Center in Kernersville. Information about both classes can be found in the PDF files below!
