The Senior Friends Advisory Council connects members of congregational senior friends groups with each other, enabling them to share their passion for the Christian life in all aspects of living.

The Advisory Council is composed of the Provincial Senior Friends officers, the immediate past Council President, plus the President and Vice-President, or designated representatives, from each local chapter. The Advisory Council meets four times a year; usually the 4th Thursdays of January, April, July and October.

Our next meeting is April 23, 2015 at 2pm at Advent Moravian Church.

All senior Moravians are invited to join us for our Senior Friends Retreat, to be held late April – early May at Laurel Ridge Camp & Conference Center.  Registration information for this event is usually available during the first quarter of each year. Registration for Senior Friends Spring Retreat 2015!

Let’s celebrate together all that God has blessed us with through the years!

Wednesday, November 22 — Psalm 131
Daniel 9:1–10:7; Jude 1:11–25

O save your people, and bless your heritage; be their shepherd, and carry them forever. Psalm 28:9

Jesus says, “I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.” John 10:16

Good Shepherd, so often as a church we look to those outside our own community as “other.” May we let go of our pride and work together with all people so we will be one flock under your leadership. Amen.
