The Moravian Western Christian Education Committee (MWCEC) is offering a grant of $500 to congregations who wish to offer a local program but do not have the funds to do so. The grant requires that the program will be designed so that other churches in the region may attend. The money could be used for speaker fees, meals, site reservation, or other costs to have the program. Following the program, MWCEC would like feedback on the program offered. To apply for the grant, email Chairperson Sheila Petroni at email@example.com with your church name, event, date, and purpose of event.

Does your congregation have a story of an event, program, series, idea, curriculum, etc that you implemented that produced fruit for God’s kingdom? We’d love to hear about it and share it with the other churches — the goal is that over time we will accumulate a database of “best practices” that can be shared in other settings around the District.
To share this information, you can attach them in a separate email to the District Board’s Communication Liaison, Rev. Jason Andersen, at email@example.com.
