In Essentials, Unity; In Nonessentials, Liberty; In All Things, Love.
It is essential that we never lose sight of the fact that our faith is not simply a list of statements about us or our Church. Our faith is relationship — relationship with Jesus Christ. This provides a basis for relationship with each other. This should always be the foundation of our understanding of Moravian identity. Once we understand this, then we can use the statements below as a way to describe this relationship.

Monday, April 21 — Psalm 51:7-12
Leviticus 14:19-57; Mark 5:1-20
So be careful not to forget the covenant that the Lord your God made with you, and not to make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything that the Lord your God has forbidden you. Deuteronomy 4:23
Jesus answered, "An evil and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so for three days and three nights the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth." Matthew 12:39-40
Gracious God, on this day, we continue to bask in the excitement of your resurrection. May this event be the only sign we need of the covenant you have made to your children. In Jesus' name. Amen.
