Our goal at Camp Van-Es is to help children explore faith in Jesus Christ in a natural setting. We offer a safe environment to experience God, to grow spiritually and, of course, to have fun!
Van-Es will host four weeks of summer camp for Moravain youth (and others!) on the shores of South Cooking Lake near Edmonton, Alberta. Being out by the lake for camp fires, singing songs and hearing stories about Jesus are just some of the things that happen, but really, camp is about having experiences together with your friends that you don’t normally have at home or at school. There is always something that will challenge you and help you grow in your faith. There are counsellors who give a week out of their lives to share their own journey with you; to make sure that each camper is reminded that God loves them and is always at work around us.
