Thursday, October 10, 2024 — Psalm 118:15–21

“They say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are cut off completely.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: Thus says the Lord God: I am going to open your graves and bring you up from your graves, O my people.” Ezekiel 37:11-12

So it is with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. It is sown a physical body; it is raised a spiritual body. 1 Corinthians 15:42,44

Holy Spirit, you take away the fear of death. With you, there is hope in a tomorrow, even when our physical bodies no longer carry our being. You bring victory over death; what joy we have in you! Thank you. Amen.
