Fourth Sunday after Epiphany

Watchword for the week — For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18

Sunday, January 29 — Micah 6:1-8; Psalm 15
1 Corinthians 1:18-31; Matthew 5:1-12

Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; let your face shine, that we may be saved. Psalm 80:19

By the tender mercy of our God, the dawn from on high will break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness. Luke 1:78-79

Light of the world, empower us to carry your light to all. Make us beacons of love and encouragement, filled with patience and humility as we serve the world around us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
