Sister Valarie Rose (Brown) Ferguson died June 17, 2021 at age 58. She was born April 20, 1963 at Montego Bay, Jamaica, a daughter of Andrew and Edna Brown.
Sister Ferguson was united in marriage to Brother Wellesley Ferguson on July 30, 1989 at Trinidad/Tobago, West Indies.
She was a graduate of the Caribbean Nazarene Theological College and Covington Theological Seminary with degrees in Christian Education. She served alongside her husband in the Eastern West Indies Province and then in the Northern Province at churches in New York (United, Fellowship, Vanderbilt Avenue).
Sister Ferguson is survived by her husband, Wellesley; daughter, Jalethea; and son, Joshneil.
Services were held July 9, 2021. Burial was in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, New York.
