The Bach Choir of Bethlehem, the oldest Bach Choir in America, traveled to Herrnhut, Germany this week. As part of their visit, the choir joined members of the 2024 Synod of the European Continental Province, who were meeting in Herrnhut, for a shared Moravian service of hymn singing.
“Knowing that singing is a great way to build a bridge from one country to another, we are looking forward to welcoming the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to Herrnhut,” wrote Jill and Peter Vogt of the Moravian Church in Herrnhut.
The service was shared worldwide on Tuesday, June 11, via live stream.
