By day the Lord commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life. Psalm 42:8
And after Jesus had dismissed the crowds, he went up the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone. Matthew 14:23
O Holy One, there is nowhere that we might go where you are not already there. May we remember that you are always with us and only a prayer away. May we remember to seek you in times of silence, free from distractions, and better able to discern your presence and commune with you. Amen.
