Friday, April 25 — Psalm 55:1–8
Job 32,33; 1 Corinthians 7:17–24

The Israelites said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, and pray that he may save us.” 1 Samuel 7:8

Paul, in chains, wrote: I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance. Philippians 1:19 NIV

Most gracious Lord, hear our cries of pain and anguish, hear our pleas for peace. Deliver us, your servants, from the struggles we endure: those that remain unspoken in our hearts, and those visible in our communities. We need you, Lord. Amen.
