Friday, January 1 — Psalm 1
1 Chronicles 4:1–23; Acts 9:10–22
You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; and you shall not lie to one another. Leviticus 19:11
Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Do not repay evil for evil or abuse for abuse; but, on the contrary, repay with a blessing. It is for this that you were called—that you might inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:8-9
Lord, thank you for granting us the precious gift of another year. As we look and plan ahead, help us to honor you by living well with our neighbors. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
