Friday, July 25 — Psalm 89:9–18
Isaiah 49:22–51:16; Colossians 1:1–14
We have heard with our ears, O God; our ancestors have told us what deeds you performed in their days, in the days of old. Psalm 44:1
For the time is coming when people will not put up with sound teaching, but, having their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 2 Timothy 4:3
God of awe and wonder, we find ourselves amazed, that even after so many years, your word still strikes a chord in the song of our heart. We are grateful to those who came before us to share with us the good news of your love. We offer our thanks to you. Amen.
