Friday, June 28, 2024 — Psalm 80:1–7
Deuteronomy 7; Luke 6:1–11

In the Lord my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. Psalm 28:7

Through Jesus, then, let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name. Hebrews 13:15

Divine Companion, it makes such a difference when we remember that you travel the road of life with us. Our burdens are lightened; the colors are brightened when we feel you near. The darkness is less threatening, and our fears are less frightening when we remember you are here. Feeling you by our side, our joy is multiplied, and our praise is magnified. May we ever remember you are near so that we might find blessing and glorify your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
