The people of Israel said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, and pray that he may save us.” 1 Samuel 7:8
Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. James 5:16
Lord God, healer, just as the people of Israel asked Samuel to cry out for salvation, so shall we cry out prayers for one another. We are one family of faith, and feel each other’s pain and burden. Through you, we are healed. Amen.
