I am going to gather them from the farthest parts of the earth, among them the blind and the lame, those with child and those in labor, together; a great company, they shall return here. Jeremiah 31:8
Jesus said, “Someone gave a great dinner and invited many. At the time for the dinner he sent his slave to say to those who had been invited, ‘Come; for everything is ready now.’” Luke 14:16-17
Gatherer, Chief Chef and Host, give us hearts to see all those you invite to eat together. In turn, may our invitations cast as wide a welcome… “for everything is ready now.” Amen.
