2 Samuel 12; John 8:12–30
He was despised and rejected by others; a man of suffering and acquainted with infirmity. Isaiah 53:3
The Son of Man will be handed over to the gentiles, and he will be mocked and insulted and spat upon. After they have flogged him, they will kill him, and on the third day he will rise again. Luke 18:32-33
Father God, what love you have for the world. The sacrifice Jesus made so that we may be redeemed and live, is a gift beyond imagination. How can we put into words our humble thanks? Lord, we live for you! Amen.
