Easter Monday

Monday, April 18 — Psalm 50:16-23
Leviticus 11:29–13:8; Mark 4:1–20

May your eyes be open toward this temple night and day, this place of which you said, ‘My name shall be there.’ 1 Kings 8:29 NIV

When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” John 20:19

Christ Jesus, as we enter wildernesses of fear, selfishness, and domination, keep us focused on your holy will and our call to share the Good News. Steady us and ready us to be directed toward the path of peace. Amen.
