O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer; and by night, but find no rest. Psalm 22:2
The disciples said, “Stay with us, because it is almost evening and the day is now nearly over.” So he went in to stay with them. Luke 24:29
Risen Christ, when our trust in you wavers, remind us that those who live in you need not fear. As we journey together, help us not to lose sight of you. As we invite you to come, Lord Jesus, be our guest. Help us to recognize you in the breaking of the bread. In your name we pray. Amen.
