Monday, February 20 — Psalm 27:1–6
2 Chronicles 26:16–28:8; Acts 23:25–24:3

“A mortal, born of woman, few of days and full of trouble, comes up like a flower and withers, flees like a shadow and does not last.” Job 14:1-2

Here we have no lasting city, but we are looking for the city that is to come. Hebrews 13:14

Eternal Creator, although our days in this life are numbered, we take comfort in the assurance that, just as you have neither beginning nor ending, so your love for us never ends. May your eternal love for us empower us to look to the future with holy expectation and confidence. Amen.
