First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions. 1 Timothy 2:1-2
You do not use your power, God, to press us down. Instead, you lift us up, giving us hopeful thoughts to think and loving words to speak. Be with us and the leaders we empower. Help us and our leaders to grow in love for you and our neighbors. Amen.
