They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, says the Lord, to deliver you. Jeremiah 1:19
Jesus prays for his disciples, “I am asking on their behalf; I am not asking on behalf of the world but on behalf of those whom you gave me, because they are yours.” John 17:9
O living Word among us, repeatedly you declare that we belong, that each is precious in your sight, that we all are of value. You offer this promise, “I am with you always.” Enable us to let go and trust more fully. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
