For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1

Almighty Savior, as the Israelites were liberated from their bondage in Egypt, so you have set us free from the tyranny of sin and the fear of death. Grant us confidence to live as victors. May we feel and use the strength you have given us to resist the temptation to sin. By the hope given us through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, may we face death with a sense of victory and peace. Amen.
