I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, on the basis of God’s mercy, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable act of worship. Romans 12:1
O God, today we remember those who have given their lives in service. Inspired by their sacrifice, let us work to bring about a world where all people and all nations turn away from violence and conflict to know justice, compassion, peace, and love. May your kingdom come. Amen.
