Have you not brought this upon yourself by forsaking the Lord your God, while he led you in the way? Jeremiah 2:17
For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters, only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for self-indulgence, but through love become enslaved to one another. Galatians 5:13
Lord, our God, lead us to follow the way of Jesus and not the ways of the world that lead away from you. With your great love and forgiveness, encourage each of us to love and serve one another as we would serve Christ. In his name, we pray. Amen.
