As Paul was going along and approaching Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” Acts 9:3–4
Merciful Savior, humble us now, we pray. Challenge our ways of living when we do not live for you and when we do not act with love. Father, forgive us and grant us grace, and keep us in your word. Amen.
