Saturday, April 21 — Psalm 52
Leviticus 15:1–24; Mark 5:21–43
The snares of death encompassed me; I suffered distress and anguish. Then I called on the name of the Lord: ‘O Lord, I pray, save my life!’ Psalm 116:3,4
The disciples awoke Jesus and said to Him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. Mark 4:38–39 (NKJV)
Christ Jesus, how prone we are to worry. How we forget your words, “Fear not.” When our faith is diminished by fear, gently remind us to take refuge in you. “Saranam, Saranam, Saranam.” Amen.
