Saturday, April 22 — Psalm 52
Job 28; 1 Corinthians 4:16–5:8

Lord, let me know my end, and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. Psalm 39:4

We know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:1

My body, like a tent made with human hands, is transitory upon this earth. Fleeting, it will wither away into death. Reassure me, Lord, that in the resurrection you will provide for me a new body, a new dwelling, a new way of resting in your heart of love. Amen.
