Saturday, August 24, 2024 — Psalm 103:19–22
Judges 8; Luke 20:9–19

See, I have taken your guilt away from you, and I will clothe you with festal apparel. Zechariah 3:4

The father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly, bring out a robe—the best one—and put it on him; for this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!’ Luke 15:22,24

We smile, divine Tailor, at the wonder of your handiwork. You have been clothing your children since you walked the coolness of the night in the Garden of Eden. You clothe us in faith, love, and hope. And behold, we are radiant—as are all your sons and daughters—ready for the banquet feast. In gladness, we rejoice! Thank you. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
