Genesis 50; Matthew 18:1–14
You say, ‘The way of the Lord is unfair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel: Is my way unfair? Is it not your ways that are unfair? Ezekiel 18:25
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9
Teach us to examine our ways, Lord. Show us how our steps may lead to harm for ourselves and others. Help us to confess our sins, redirect our steps, and walk in your way of justice. Amen.
