Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. Deuteronomy 6:4
There is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself a ransom for all. 1 Timothy 2:5–6
Almighty God, we thank you for your son, Jesus Christ, and the ransom he made for our souls. Teach us to be living sacrifices and to obey your call. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain! Amen.
