Saturday, July 29 — Psalm 89:38–45
Isaiah 54,55; Colossians 1:28–2:10
In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying. Psalm 77:2
Jesus said to the disciples, “I am deeply grieved, even to death; remain here, and stay awake with me.” And going a little farther, he threw himself on the ground and prayed. Matthew 26:38-39
Rabbi, we will pray with you. We are sleepy, and we are weary, but we love you too much to leave you alone. We will cry out through the night. “Abba! Father! Hear us!” Amen.
