Saturday, June 22, 2024 — Psalm 78:40–55
Deuteronomy 2; Luke 4:22–30

Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am languishing; O Lord, heal me, my soul also is struck with terror. Psalm 6:2,3

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

O divine Physician of the soul, many of us carry heavy burdens. We are grateful that you invite us to bring those burdens to you that we might find rest for our souls. Whether it be illness of body or spirit, broken relationships, emptiness of life, or concern for the world and culture around us, we are hurting and fearful. Lord, grant us comfort, peace, and hope. Amen.
