Saturday, May 21 — Psalm 68:1-6
Numbers 9:15–10:36; Mark 12:35–44

Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. Ecclesiastes 5:10 NIV

If we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. But those who want to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many senseless and harmful desires. 1 Timothy 6:8-9

Dearest Lord, our hearts often desire earthly treasures rather than heavenly riches. We choose to gather wealth instead of giving our resources freely. Help us to let go of material gains and share what we have with our neighbors.
Amen.
