Saturday, May 22 — Psalm 68:7–18
Proverbs 16; 2 Corinthians 1:1–11

Lord God, you are God, and your words are true. 2 Samuel 7:28

The word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

High Judge of the world, there is no hiding from you or your word; you see all things, know all our innermost thoughts and intentions. Shine the light of your sacred word on us. Let it guide our paths so that we may ever work to do your will. Protect us from straying. In your son’s name, we pray. Amen.
