The Lord said, “Whom did you dread and fear
so that you lied, and did not remember me?” Isaiah 57:11
Peter remembered what Jesus had said: “Before the cock crows, you will deny me three times.” And he went out and wept bitterly. Matthew 26:75
O Lord, you remember us every single moment of our lives, yet we continually fail you, only remembering you in our times of need or crisis. Please help us to be more like you so that we won’t fail you as much as we do today. Amen.
