Saturday, November 18 — Psalm 128
Daniel 5:17–6:18; 2 John
The war horse is a vain hope for victory, and by its great might it cannot save. Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love. Psalm 33:17-18
We boast in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh. Philippians 3:3
Christ our redeemer, in our hearts, we want to love and serve you. Help us not to be caught up with the temptations of our day, or to let our love for you grow lukewarm. The storms of life often push us into sinking sand. Thank you for not turning away from us. Amen.
