As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you. Isaiah 66:13
Jesus said, “I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you. Because I live, you also will live.” John 14:18,19
God, you act as a mother would, providing comfort and assurance. Thinking of the assurance that hymns bring, we can hear you singing these two verses. A smile comes to our faces. Amen.
