Saturday, October 21 — Psalm 119:49–56
Ezekiel 25:15–27:11; James 5:1–12

Those who trust in the Lord shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream. In the year of drought it is not anxious, and it does not cease to bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:7,8

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23

Holy Gardener, source of all life, cultivate us this day and nourish us by your Spirit. As deep run the roots of the tree of life, so may our reverence of your grace keep us steadfast, thriving, and bearing good fruit. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
