The bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. John 6:33
Lord of the hungry, when we look to you for nourishment, you provide not only for our empty bellies, but also for our empty hearts. The gift of your dear son has sustained us as the bread of life, filling our bodies and souls. We thank you for this most precious communion. Amen.
