In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10
Eternal God, we thank you for your steadfast love. We often fall short of the life we are called to live, yet your mercy and grace are never lost to us. Let the love you show us be in the love we show others. Amen.
