Ruth 1; Luke 23:1–12
The Lord said to Solomon, “Ask what I should give you.” And Solomon said, “Give your servant, therefore, an understanding mind to govern your people, able to discern between good and evil.” 1 Kings 3:5,6,9
The devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan!” Matthew 4:8-10
Grant us the courage to always do right by you and others, dear God. We run into situations in our daily lives where we have to choose between right and wrong. We look to you to guide us; help us make the right choices. Amen.
