Easter

Watchword for the week — Why do you look for the living among the dead? Jesus is not here, but has risen. Luke 24:5

Sunday, April 21 — Acts 10:34-43; Psalm 118:1-2,14-24
1 Corinthians 15:19-26; Luke 24:1-12

Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’ Isaiah 45:9 NIV

If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! 2 Corinthians 5:17

Lord, there was a stable, a star, miracles, a healer, wisdom beyond measure, hosannas, palm branches, “Crucify him!”, a cross, sharp nails, your agony, and our terror. Yet when we see an empty tomb, we know all has been made new. The Lord is risen indeed! Thanks be to God. Amen.
