God is not a human being, that he should lie, or a mortal, that he should change his mind. Numbers 23:19
As surely as God is faithful, our word to you has not been “Yes and No.” For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you, Silvanus and Timothy and I, was not “Yes and No”; but in him it is always “Yes.” 2 Corinthians 1:18-19
Sustaining Provider, our faith is firmly placed in your divine “Yes.” May this Advent season be filled with the realization of your majestic presence in all that we ask or hope for in this life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
