When the wicked turn away from the wickedness they have committed and do what is lawful and right, they shall save their life. Ezekiel 18:27
For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Matthew 16:26
God of wisdom, you invite us to an inward journey. Enable us to see the innermost places where resentments, bitterness, and grudges lie in festering pools—all too often rising up and tainting our attitudes and actions. We ask you to cleanse our inner most places. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
