No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father’s heart, who has made him known. John 1:18
Invisible God, we long to see you; we need to see you on the earth. Invisible God, you have become visible in Jesus—but not as we expected. Invisible God, may what we see in Jesus, especially forgiveness and service, be reflected in us. Amen.
