Sixth Sunday of Easter
Watchword for the week — Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” John 14:27

Sunday, May 22 — Acts 16:9-15; Psalm 67
Revelation 21:10,22-22:5; John 14:23-29

I will bring them through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. Zechariah 13:9 NKJV

In this you rejoice, even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith—being more precious than gold that, though perishable, is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 1 Peter 1:6-7

Loving God, we ask that you hold our hands as we go through trials and temptations. We need your guidance to help us walk through ordeals and troubles that are so common in our lives. Through you, we can do this. Amen.
