Twenty-Fifth Sunday after Pentecost

Watchword for the week — Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for God who has promised is faithful. Hebrew 10:23

Sunday, November 14 — Daniel 12:1-3; Psalm 16
Hebrews 10:11-14,(15-18),19-25; Mark 13:1-8

Lift up your voice like a trumpet! Announce to my people their rebellion. Isaiah 58:1

Now, however, that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and beggarly elemental spirits? How can you want to be enslaved to them again? Galatians 4:9

Lord, we are blessed to be known by you. We acknowledge times when we have turned our back to your perfect ways of grace, justice, and mercy. Today, we instead turn toward you and lift our voice in praise. Amen.
