So be careful not to forget the covenant that the Lord your God made with you, and not to make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything that the Lord your God has forbidden you. Deuteronomy 4:23
Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Colossians 1:15
Creator, you remind us through your Son that, though our eyes cannot see you, we can glimpse your image. Forgive us for the idols we make in our world, and help us be recreated in the image of our Savior. Amen.
